Just like in this photograph which my husband took while we were at Milford Sound in New Zealand--where from a distance the tall, dark figure looks like a creepy character screaming, but when you look closer it reveals a majestic and beautiful mountain--the details hidden in One Fell Down don't necessarily reveal their full truths until the reader sees them in the final light.
